General project parameters<\/strong><\/p>\n

The biggest challenge was in the lack of any 3D model of the plastic part. Consequently in order to implement the project for a customer in the automotive business, the item data was reversed-engineered based on a drawing and a 3D scan of samples.<\/p>\n

This was needed to design and produce the subsequent tool. For this, dimensions were corrected and the mould was extended 16-fold. The fir tree contour of the holding clip was a significant factor together with this requirements profile.<\/p>\n
